This spooky season is upon us, and the Palmer Lake Police Department is getting in the spirit. Our shoulder patch has been redesigned with purple wrapped orange text, and a purple border. The black bear face typically in the center of the patch is replaced by a black bear skull. These are patches are authorized for wear by our officers working on the day of Halloween. Only 50 are available, and due to delays with the manufacturer from the hurricanes, they will ship the last week of the month after they have arrived in our possession from the manufacturers. Have a safe and spooky Halloween!

Get them at our site

https://plpd-shop.square.site/

And as always, shipping is included in the price of the patches.

**It should be noted that the PLPD shop is not used to generate funds for the PLPD. The department does not receive any funds from sales or donations from the website. The shop is an entirely separate entity from the PLPD, ran by officers that are volunteering their time. Any funds generated or donated through the PLPD Shop fund the PLPD Honor Guard unit, which is a self-funded and officer funded ancillary unit approved by PLPD Command Staff and staffed by PLPD officers, and or charities of their choosing.

April is Autism Awareness Month, and the PLPD is raising funds to support Autism Awareness and research.

This shoulder patch is the first specialty of the new design PLPD Officers now wear. Officers are authorized to wear them from April 1st - April 30th, 2024.

The center of the patch features the Autism Awareness logo replacing the face of our black bear. The background of the patch displays puzzle pieces, the autism awareness symbol, in our department colors.

Patches are $12 a piece and as always shipping is included. Funds generated from the proceeds of these patches will be donated to a local autism charity. Thank you for your support of the PLPD Honor Guard Unit, and their efforts to raise funds for this worthy cause.

Patches can be found on our website listed below, or from the PD office Wednesday through Friday 9am-3pm. As always, online pricing includes the cost to ship the patches to you.
