Vote Common Good is inspiring, energizing, and mobilizing people of faith to make the common good their voting criteria. Too many Evangelical and Catholic voters have been taught that to be faithful, they must vote for Republican candidates regardless of the candidate’s character or policy positions. We train and support Democratic candidates to connect with Evangelical and Catholic voters. We're voting for the Common Good BECAUSE OF our faith, not despite it. If you stand for social justice, welcoming refugees and immigrants, Black Lives Matter, abolishing the death penalty, fighting for a living wage for all Americans, welcoming and supporting the LGBTQ+ community, and actively loving your neighbor as yourself, then you've come to the right place.

The Ride, what a finals day in New Orleans. Even our drive Rosie was feeling it. So were the students and the final stop at Dooky Chase! The Freedom Riders were hero’s of their day and we have calling in our day. Vote like a freedom rider on Tuesday.

Last week, a reporter from The Telegraph asked me what I believe about Donald Trump.

I told her I find him to be a moral void, and I meant it.

But I also shared something that gives me hope.

A man from my congregation who voted for Trump three times recently told me, with tears in his eyes, that he couldn't do it anymore.

He's not alone. The Telegraph reports that Trump's approval among white evangelicals has dropped from 78% to 58% since January 2025.

For me, this is about something bigger than politics. It's about faith, conscience, and the courage to reconsider what we stand for.

Kredelle Petway and Steve Thomas stand in the Montgomery airport that once refused Kredelle service. Sixty-five years ago, they boarded a flight from here as Freedom Riders and were met by police when they landed in Jackson. Now they’re riding again with The Ride, because the freedom they fought for is still ours to defend. Vote.

While The Ride was in Birmingham, Alabama, we were in the presence of Sarah Collins Rudolph. She was 12 years old on September 15, 1963, when the Ku Klux Klan bombed the 16th Street Baptist Church. She was in the basement restroom with the four girls who were killed, including her older sister, Addie Mae Collins. Sarah survived, and she has spent her life bearing witness to what happened that day. An amazing survivor and a brave woman.

“Do justice. Love mercy. Walk humbly.” - Micah 6:8

A new BBC report examines how Trump's second-term immigration policies have expanded deportations, restricted refugee admissions, and raised serious questions about justice, compassion, and human dignity.

As people of faith, we have a responsibility to consider not only what our laws allow, but how those laws affect our neighbors.

That's a responsibility we're striving to meet. If you'd like to join us, we hope you'll consider Giving for Good today.
