🚒✈️ UVAS FIRE AT SAN MARTIN AIRPORT DAY & FLY-IN! ✈️🚒

UVAS Fire had a great time attending San Martin Airport Day & Fly-In! 🇺🇸

It was a great opportunity to get out into the community, meet local families, share information about UVAS Fire, and hand out CPR Ready Kits to help promote emergency preparedness. We also enjoyed showcasing our brush patrol and talking with the community about what we do! 🚒❤️

We enjoyed spending time with our partners at Santa Clara County Fire, trying some of their delicious chili, and watching some awesome airplanes and incredible aerobatic performances! 🛩️

A big THANK YOU to Santa Clara County Airports for letting us to be part of such a great community event. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with the community and continue building strong partnerships with our fellow first responders.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello. We look forward to seeing you at the next event!

Never Forget. 🇺🇸🚒
Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11th, the Uvas Volunteer Fire Department stops to honor and remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost on that tragic day in 2001.
We pay special tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters who selflessly ran into danger to save others, laying down their lives in the line of duty. Their extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and dedication to serving others represent the absolute highest standard of the fire service.
We also honor the 71 law enforcement officers, 55 military personnel, 8 paramedics and EMTs, and every individual whose life was cut short or forever changed on that fateful morning.
To the families who lost loved ones, to the survivors, and to the responders who continue to face battle with 9/11-related illnesses: you are in our thoughts and prayers. We will never forget your sacrifice, and we will carry your memory in our hearts every time we gear up to serve our community.
343 Brothers. Always Remembered, Never Forgotten.
