⛳️ Attention Golfers 🏌️

We are accepting registrations for this years annual Eric Taylor Memorial Golf outing! This year the outing will be on August 9th, 2026, with registration starting at 7:00, and a shotgun start at 0800 hours. This year each individual player will receive a gift basket, as well as additional chances for raffles at the end of the outing.

The funds raised will support the FOP's Officer in Distress Fund, which provides assistance to sick or injured members and their families. Your support would be greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you out on the course!

Cost per team is $100 per player or $400 per team.

🚔🐾 FOUND DOGS 🐾🚔

These two chunky little ones were found roaming near the Boys & Girls Club, apparently on a mission of their own. (Male & Female)

Suspect #1: Short, stocky, and fueled by snacks.
Suspect #2: Also short, stocky, and fueled by snacks.

The pair were traveling together and seem to have appointed themselves as each other’s legal representation. They have remained silent except for heavy panting and occasional snorting.

Both are safe at the Police Department while we try to locate their owners. If these adorable escape artists belong to you, please contact us and be prepared to provide proof of ownership.

Until then, they’re facing charges of:
🐾 Loitering
🐾 Excessive Cuteness
🐾 Public Mischief
🐾 Possession of Unauthorized Zoomies

🐾🚔 Congratulations to Patrolman Anthony and K-9 Luka! 🚔🐾

The Massillon Police Department is proud to announce that Patrolman Anthony and his K-9 partner, Luka, have successfully completed their extensive K-9 training program.

Over the course of their training, the team dedicated countless hours to developing the skills, trust, and teamwork required to serve our community effectively. Together, they trained in obedience, tracking, article searches, criminal apprehension, and other specialized law enforcement disciplines that will help enhance public safety.

The bond between a handler and K-9 is built through hard work, commitment, and countless hours spent training side by side. Patrolman Anthony and K-9 Luka have demonstrated exceptional dedication throughout this process, and we are excited to see them begin serving together as a certified K-9 team.

Please join us in congratulating Patrolman Anthony and Luka on this outstanding accomplishment. We look forward to the positive impact they will make for our department and community.

🚔 Welcome to the Team, Officer Hunter Foster! 🚔

Please join us in welcoming Hunter Foster to the Massillon Police Department!

Hunter will officially begin his administrative week on Monday as he starts his journey with our department. Over the coming weeks, he’ll be learning the ins and outs of our operations, meeting members of the team, and preparing to serve the residents of Massillon.

Update 🚨 owner redeemed white dog. Dogs are not bonded, apparently they just decided they were newly found best friends !

🐾🚔 FOUND DOGS – NOT UNDER ARREST (YET) 🚔🐾

These two gentlemen were located running together near Earl Rd NW and were taken into protective custody by officers after repeatedly refusing to provide identification.

The pair appears to be working as a team and is believed to be involved in multiple counts of:
🐾 Loitering
🐾 Excessive tail wagging
🐾 Public displays of good-boy behavior
🐾 Resisting capture by being adorable

Both are male and appear to be a bonded pair. They are currently being housed at the Police Department, where they have already begun negotiating for treats and belly rubs.

If these suspects belong to you, please contact the Massillon Police Department and be prepared to provide proof of ownership. Bail will be accepted in the form of dog treats and a valid explanation as to how these escape artists ended up on Earl Rd NW.

This sweet little pup was found wandering around the northeast side of town and is currently safe with officers. She appears to be missing her family and would very much like to stop posing for mugshots and start heading home. 🐶💙
