Audrey Fiske served up seven aces, Silver Stewart had six aces and Lexi McNall finished with 10 kills Friday to power Hartford to a 3-2 Adirondack League volleyball victory over Lake George.

Fiske added seven kills and 10 assists to her ledger, and Stewart chipped in with five kills, six digs and five blocks for the Tanagers (2-0 league, 2-1 overall).

Chelsea Kubricky and Debra Conner each finished with nine kills, Chase Tatum served six aces and Addy Merrigan had 15 assists for the Lakers (1-1, 1-1).

HARTFORD 3, LAKE GEORGE 2

Set scores: 25-17, 28-30, 25-16, 11-25, 15-6

Hartford: Audrey Fiske 7 aces, 7 kills, 10 assists, 1 block. Lexie McNall 10 kills, 8 assists. Silver Stewart 6 aces, 5 kills, 6 digs, 5 blocks. Cadence Ellis 10 digs. Maddalynn Meade-Collins 3 aces.

Lake George: Chelsea Kubricky 9 kills, Addy Merrigan 15 assists, Debra Conner 9 kills, Lina Caldaroni 29 digs. Tatum Chase 6 aces. Mia Ahigian 11 assists

Records: Hartford 2-0, 2-1. Lake George 1-1, 1-1.

The Hartford volleyball team outlasted Lake George in a five-set marathon in an early season Adirondack League showdown.

CORINTH/HADLEY-LUZERNE 34, WARRENSBURG-LAKE GEORGE 6: Will Murray rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead the Mountaineers to an eight-man football victory over WLGB.

Murray scored on runs of 13 and 28 yards, and connected with Dylan Haynes on a 35-yard scoring pass in the first half. Murray completed 7 of 14 passes for 82 yards, and rushed for a team-leading 92 yards on 13 carries.

Lenny Rosa returned the second-half kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown, and Hunter LaBrake added an 8-yard score. LaBrake finished with 77 yards on seven rushes.

Queensbury's defense stepped up and sophomore Ryan Higley threw three touchdown passes, Glens Falls' Chase McTague was stellar, and Schuylerville rolled past the Witches.
