It was discovered yesterday the children’s little free library had a huge ants nest in it, our apologies if you experienced that issue this week. The books that were in it had to be thrown out as they were inundated with ant eggs.

The library has been thoroughly treated and is safe to browse again. We have begun to restock it as it is very popular. Donations of any children’s books for all age groups are always appreciated.

On May 20th in the farm pavilion the Killingworth Lions 🦁 brought together many outstanding citizens of our town from youth to senior citizens for their annual Night of Giving. Many groups were recognized and given generous donations to help further their causes.

There is nothing more rewarding to the many volunteers and committee of the farm than to witness and celebrate, under this roof, so many good and deserving causes and people.

Congrats to Citizen of the year, Kathleen Amoia and students Ian Young, Ashley Kelly and Ethan Pitts for their achievements, contributions and commitment to society.

Many thanks to Lion’s President David Beaudette and to the many Killingworth Lion volunteers who raise the funds to support the Service and Charity organizations in the community.
