As usual, we will be administering all routine vaccines for children and adults. Please note that these vaccines do have eligibility requirements.
To qualify for the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) program, children or students (18 years of age or younger) must meet one of the following criteria:
· Uninsured
· Underinsured (insurance does not cover vaccines)
· Enrolled in Medicaid
For the Adult Safety Net (ASN) program, which covers individuals 19 years of age or older, eligibility is as follows:
· Must be uninsured
In addition to those, we also currently have our free flu vaccines (for ages 6 months and up),available to anyone interested, regardless of insurance status.
At this time, we are still out of our free COVID vaccines.
**As you know, it is always strongly recommended that students bring any and all vaccine records they have to this event—whether in paper form or as a photo on their phone, if available. While no one will be turned away for not having records, having some form of vaccine documentation greatly helps our clinical staff accurately determine which vaccines are needed based on the ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) recommendation.
