We meet on Tuesdays at noon in Ninfa'a at Gulf Freeway. We are a community service organization that supports the Southeast Houston Area. The Rotarians in our area truly exemplify Rotary's motto of ''Service Above Self'' with projects in local communities as well as international projects around the world. So whether your passion is in water projects, literacy, hunger, health, or peace, Rotary has something to offer you.

Congratulations to our August 2026 Rotarian of the Month, Julia Hernandez ! 🎉

Julia truly embodies Service Above Self. Whether there’s a community project, a scholarship initiative, or a chance to help someone in need, Julia is always ready to step up and make it happen.

Her dedication, energy, and commitment to our students and our community have made a lasting impact on Harrisburg Rotary. We are so lucky to have her as part of our Rotary family! 💙

Rotary Backpacks Make Their Way to Mexico!

Our Back-to-School efforts reached a little farther this year! Some of the backpacks from our annual drive were able to make their way to Valle Hermoso, Mexico, where they became part of a special back-to-school effort organized by the Vazquez family.

Every year, the family works together to provide backpacks and school supplies to local children. What started with about 20 backpacks has grown to an incredible 130 backpacks this year!

We are proud that our Rotary Club of Harrisburg was able to contribute backpacks to help support this effort and, this year, even help provide backpacks for teachers. In communities like Valle Hermoso, families and teachers often have to provide supplies for their classrooms themselves, making this kind of support especially meaningful.

A huge thank you, as always, to the Vazquez family, VICO, our generous donors, and everyone who helped make our backpack drive possible. And a special thank you to the family members and volunteers who continue to turn this effort into something that reaches beyond our own community.

We love seeing the Rotary spirit travel! 💙🎒

We’re grateful for everything Rick does for Harrisburg Rotary and for the time and energy he puts into keeping our club moving forward.

Our amazing Rotary Club of Harrisburg volunteers are hard at work getting hundreds of backpacks ready for local students! 🎒💙💛

Join us this Saturday, August 8, starting at 9AM until 11AM or while supplies last, for our FREE Backpack Giveaway at 6815 Rustic St., Houston, TX 77087.

🚗 Drive-thru distribution
👧👦 Students must be present
🎒 One backpack per student, while supplies last
