This past weekend, we had a great time with Memorial Assistance Ministries for the Campus Completion Celebration and gave the Spring Branch community a first look at HCPL @ MAM!
 
Guests explored the new library and Innovation Lab, met the Curiosity Cruiser, and checked out maker projects.
 
A huge thank you to MAM and everyone who came out to celebrate with us!

Walk-ins are now welcome to our remaining Laufey Book Club cards, just in time to kick off Library Card Sign-Up Month!

If you weren’t able to snag a card during reservations, a very limited number of unclaimed cards are now available for walk-ins at all HCPL branches.

For your best chance, these five branches have a slightly larger supply:

Aldine Branch Library
Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library
Maud Smith Marks Branch Library
West University Branch Library
Barbara Bush Branch Library

Cards are first come, first serve while supplies last and quantities are EXTREMELY limited, giving your branch a call before making the drive may save you some time!

Teens ages 13-18 can join us at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library (930 Corbindale Rd. Houston, TX 77024) once a month to earn an hour of volunteer credit by doing a project for a local community organization! Our next session is on Thursday, September 10th at 4:30 PM.
