🧡Kindness, Acceptance & Inclusion at Jackson Intermediate!🧡

Jackson Intermediate kicked off Bullying Prevention Month on October 1 with a powerful message about standing together against bullying!

Ms. Fickle’s Acting 1 class brought the message to life through a short play based on The Juice Box Bully by Bob Sornson and Maria Dismondy. Students explored different forms of bullying and learned the important difference between being a bystander and an upstander.

Throughout October, students and staff focused on how kindness, acceptance, inclusion, and unity can help prevent bullying. On October 21, Student Council celebrated Unity Day by creating orange-themed posters to display throughout the hallways, sharing a visible reminder of our commitment to standing together against bullying.

The commitment to kindness won’t stop with October! Student Council will continue promoting a positive school culture through the Orange Award, recognizing one student from each classroom each month for demonstrating kindness.

At Jackson Intermediate, we believe small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference. Let’s continue choosing kindness, including others, and standing up for one another!🧡
