Last night was the Senior Center’ s “Volunteer Appreciation Dinner”. We are so grateful for all our volunteers! They are the heart of this community! They bring warmth, compassion, friendship, and support to the people they serve everyday. Their presence makes people feel valued, welcomed, and never alone. The work they do may may seem small at times, but it leaves a lasting impact! Thank you for all that you do and for all that you mean to us! We also celebrated Cooky’s and Al’s Birthday! We also had a special visit from Frances and her dad Andrew! Very sweet little girl!🥰

Julie O’Connor was here on Thursday to talk about cooking with plant based products. Changing out animal products with plant based alternatives. Julie made three dishes, sloppy Joe’s, quesadillas, and a salad. All were delicious! Julie will be back on May 28th to talk about plant based desserts and preparing examples.
