Over the years, The American Legion Family has influenced considerable social change in America, won hundreds of benefits for veterans, helped military families through transition and produced many important programs for our country’s youth. Today, ALA members across the country are helping military families cope with the effects of multiple deployments. The toll on our all-volunteer force and the

ir families has been enormous. We know that military service is a sacrifice for the whole family, so ALA members quietly look for ways to ease the burden—whatever it takes to get that family back on their feet physically, mentally, socially and vocationally. If we don’t have the resources, we connect military families with our partners who do.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the Hatfield American Legion Chicken Barbecue! Because of your support, the event was a fabulous success!

A very special thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped organize, prepare, serve, set up, clean up, and keep everything running smoothly throughout the day. Your hard work and dedication made this event possible.

Special thanks also to the guys who cooked and prepared the delicious chicken — your time and effort were truly appreciated by all!

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and everyone who helped make this event such a wonderful success. Thank you all, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

The Hatfield American Legion Chicken Barbecue is happening today, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone!

Come enjoy a delicious chicken barbecue, good company, and community spirit under the pavilion. Bring your appetite and we’ll take care of the rest!

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time this morning helping chop vegetables, prepare the pasta and coleslaw, and organize cups and supplies for tomorrow’s Chicken BBQ!

Due to the upcoming rain on Sunday, the Hatfield Memorial Day parade has been canceled as well as the cemetery ceremonies but the speaker portion will still be happening and will be held at the Hatfield Elementary school at 1 PM. See everybody at the Chicken Barbecue at the Lion’s Club Pavilion. The barbecue is a rain or shine event!
