📚✨ Student Registration Opening Soon for the 2026–27 School Year! ✨📚

We are excited to announce that online registration for new and returning students in the Harrison County School District for the 2026–2027 school year will open on Thursday, June 11, 2026!

Families are encouraged to register early to secure their student's enrollment and help us prepare for another successful year of learning and growth. The registration window is from June 11 to July 23.

📌 Information flyers containing registration requirements, important dates, and enrollment details are now available on the HCSD website under the "School Registration" tab: www.harrison.k12.ms.us.

We look forward to welcoming our students and families for the 2026–2027 school year!

🎓❤️🖤 This past week, HCE had the honor of celebrating our former Harrison Central Elementary students during our Senior Walk! Seeing our graduates walk the halls once again brought so much joy to our staff and students.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and all that you have accomplished. Today is such a special milestone, and we hope you enjoy every moment of your graduation day!

🎳❤️🖤 Our 3rd grade Hawks had a STRIKE of a good time bowling! We are so proud of their hard work, determination, and success on the 3rd Grade Gateway MAAP Assessment!

These students have worked incredibly hard all year long, and this trip was a well-deserved celebration of their achievement and growth. We loved getting to celebrate their success and make special memories together!

🚗 Car riders will begin dismissal at 11:20 a.m., and buses will begin dismissal at 11:30 a.m. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during dismissal! ❤️🖤

🎉 Last Day of School Announcement 🎉 As we enter the final week of the school year, we would like to remind families that the last day of school for HCSD students will be Friday, May 22.

Please note that this will be a 60% day. Please check with your child’s school for the early dismissal schedule and transportation information to ensure a smooth end-of-year pickup.

🎓Our little Hawks are ready to soar! 🎓

Last week we celebrated our amazing Pre-K United Way Hawks as they graduated and are getting ready to begin their next big adventure—Kindergarten! 🖍️📚✨

This year has been filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and so much growth. We are so proud of each and every student for all they have accomplished. Their bright smiles, curiosity, and excitement for learning have made this year so special! 🦅

📚🌮 Mrs. Anderson’s 2nd grade class had a *taco-riffic* time enjoying the story *Dragons Love Tacos* — and of course, they loved eating tacos, too! 🐉❤️🌮

Our Hawks enjoyed bringing this fun book to life through reading, laughter, and a tasty treat to go along with the story. Hands-on learning experiences like these help make reading exciting and memorable for our students!
