Our 3rd Grade Journey students visited the Mobile Museum of Art. They learned all about various artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Aminah Robinson, and how art can be used to express their creativity and individuality. Students used their knowledge of the elements of art to examine paintings and sculptures throughout the museum. After our tour, students created their own art inspired by what they saw in each exhibit! We are so thankful for Ms. Katelyn and her team at the MMoA for teaching us today.
