🌟 Meet the Chamber Champ: Stephanie Freeman 🌟

We’re excited to spotlight Stephanie Freeman as one of our Chamber Champions with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Champions are dedicated professionals who actively support the Chamber’s mission while helping strengthen relationships throughout the business community.

When asked about the biggest risk she has ever taken, Stephanie shared that she completely changed career paths after originally going to school for sport management and working in minor league sports for several years. Through the relationships she built with sponsors during that time, she was recommended for a new opportunity in a completely different industry. Taking that leap allowed her to grow professionally, find success in a new field, and ultimately discover work she truly loves.

When asked what career advice she would give to her younger self, Stephanie shared:

“Learn to sell and make cold calls; it will make you valuable at any job. Go to events and network, it might just land you your dream job. Work hard but remind yourself to have work life balance, don't burn yourself out! Oh yeah, and start saving for retirement asap, compound interest is a great thing!”
