WHY IT MATTERS:
I trace the Comba-Tai family lineage through Ras (Prince) Yakub (translated: James Marshal) and Bitwoded Georgios Waren (George Warren), a Christian Nubian. According to oral tradition, when Kasa (Emperor Tewodros II) seized the throne from the Solomonic Dynasty, Yakub and other members of the Knights of Saint Anthony fled and eventually settled in Jones County. Kasa imprisoned and educated the future Christian Emperor Menelik II: the first of two Ethiopian Kings to defeat colonialism.

COVID cases are still occurring and it will probably be with us for a long time. However, with vaccines and new protocols, we are winning the fight. With that being said, LETS GET BACK TO TRAINING!!

It’s time to get back to what we have enjoyed. Bring the kids back, let them exercise, compete, and discipline their mind and body’s.

We have so much in store within the next few months and want our old and new students to be a part of these historic events and opportunities.

The Combat Academy has been teaching on the Gulf Coast for over 40 years and over 60 years worldwide. We know Martial Arts. Whether it’s sparring, grappling, self-defense, or just getting in shape, we’ve got all bases covered. Let’s get back to training.
