🎲 European geography came alive in 6th-grade Social Studies today!

🌍Our students took a break from the traditional study guide to tackle our Europe Geography review through an epic table game tournament! 🏆Teams rotated through different challenge stations, testing their knowledge on everything we've learned in this unit:🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇷🇺 The UK, Germany, and Russia🗣️⛪ Languages, religion, and culture☀️🌲 Location, climate, and natural resources🏭🐟 Environmental issues🏔️🗺️ Physical features of Europe - To earn their turn in each game, students had to correctly answer tough review questions. It was incredible to watch them collaborate, coach one another, and use their Social Studies vocabulary to help their teams win. We are officially primed, pumped, and ready for the upcoming test! 💪📊

"Leadership is not about a title; it's about impact and action." ✨ During our last meeting, Student Council members participated in an interactive leadership activity designed to sharpen their communication and collaborative skills. It is inspiring to watch these students take responsibility and actively brainstorm ways to make our school an even better place by building leadership. 👥❤️

Spring Plant Sale prep starts EARLY for Coffee FFA🌱

🌿 While spring may feel far away, there’s a LOT that goes into growing beautiful, healthy plants, and it starts months in advance!

Our students will be caring for, growing, and learning from these plants all the way until sale time. We can’t wait to watch them grow and see what our greenhouse has in store for spring! 🌱

The Ceremony of Twelve: Your Assignment Awaits🔖Students in Mrs. Farabow’s 7th grade Gifted & Honors ELA classes stepped into the world of The Giver today and experienced the powerful Ceremony of Twelve firsthand. The classroom was transformed into the Chief Elder’s stage. Students received their roles and custom job assignments based on hidden talents and traits just like in The Giver. This experience allowed each class to explore the themes of conformity, memory, and free will in Lois Lowry's classic novel.
