⛵🔬 Our kindergarten–2nd grade students explored sinking and floating in Mrs. Shelly’s SPARK Lab! Working in groups, they built mini aluminum foil boats and tested how much weight each could hold before sinking. Buttons, erasers, candy corn, and paper clips became cargo as students put their designs to the test! 🌊

🦴 Teamwork, strategic thinking, and creativity came together as our 3rd–5th graders built 3-D skeletons in Mrs. Shelly’s SPARK Lab! Each skeleton had to include a spine, legs, arms, and a skull. Students worked hard, shared ideas, and solved problems together to bring their unique creations to life! 💀

🎨🎃 October was filled with spooky, creative fun in Mrs. Lydia’s art classes! From Spooky Value Skies and witches and wizards to a “Room on the Broom” read-along, Halloween keychains, and bubbly cauldrons, our Eagles let their imaginations soar! 🧙‍♀️🫧

📚🎃 Storybook Pumpkin Magic at Eastside! 🎃📚

Our creative Eagles brought their favorite stories to life by decorating pumpkins inspired by beloved storybook characters! 🧡📖 Our library was filled with amazing creations, and we loved seeing our students' creativity shine!

On Friday, every Eagle had the opportunity to tour the displays and cast a vote for their favorite storybook pumpkin! 🗳️🎃

A BIG congratulations to our 1st Place Winner, Allison Amador Martinez! 🎉👏 2nd Place- Everly Ogden, 3rd Place- Chase Sherrod

We are so proud of Allison and ALL of our Eagles who participated! Thank you for making reading, creativity, and a little fall fun come together in such a special way! 💚🦅
