Requirements:
✔️ You must live within Douglas city limits & show proof of residency (e.g., utility bill)
✔️ Must be in line before 11:30 AM
✔️ Customers must unload any items that are not on a trailer or items that are unable to be lifted with the clam truck.
Not Accepted:
❌ Construction materials or commercial/business dumping
❌ Hazardous chemicals (paints, solvents, cleaners, pesticides, etc.)
❌ Motor oil, antifreeze, batteries, or tires

Governor Kemp has lifted the burn ban but you MUST have a burn permit if you are burning in the city limits of Douglas (excludes self contained burning such as grilling, fire pit, etc) . Please burn responsibly and keep an eye on any outdoor fires. Call DFD at 912-384-4815 for the process to receive a burn permit.
