Every 16 seconds, someone in the United States hears the words, “You have cancer.” 💛

Every week, care packages filled with encouragement, hope, and love are sent to cancer patients across the country.

Before each package is mailed, it’s prayed over by caring volunteers who want every recipient to know they are seen, supported, and deeply loved. Each package is a reminder that no one has to face cancer alone.

Today, we lift up every mother battling cancer. We pray for peace in the waiting, strength in the fight, healing in the hurting, and hope in every moment. You are seen, loved, and covered in prayer.

Today we also thank God for moms — for the love they give that words could never fully express, for the sacrifices they make every day, and for the countless ways they serve and care for others. We’re grateful for the moms who pour out their hearts for their families, who volunteer, encourage, nurture, and lead with strength and grace.

I received my care package from Phil’s Friends last week, and I’m still so touched. My cancer diagnosis is so new that even after surgery, it doesn’t always feel real.
