Meet Cheryl Joyner from Class 44.

After a remarkable 40-year career in banking, Cheryl wasted no time stepping into her next chapter. Just two weeks into retirement, she set off for Saint Lucia in the Eastern Caribbean, where she now serves in the Peace Corps as a literacy resource teacher supporting K–2 students and helping spark a lifelong love of reading—continuing a commitment to service shaped in part by her Leadership Charlotte experience.

As Cheryl reflects on her leadership journey: "Lasting change is seldom the work of one person alone. Real and sustainable change comes from connection, collaboration, and shared service. I saw that in Charlotte, and now that mindset guides my work here in Saint Lucia."
