The Taste of Texas Terroir was also showcased in Houston, TX on October 12 and 13. Again this showcase was to educate and encourage buyers to buy Texas w**es as well as placing a special spotlight on the 2026 Texas Vintners Cup Winners. This was done through a seated educational session followed by a walkaround tasting of Texas w**es.

Earlier this month, the Taste of Texas Terroir kicked off in Austin, TX on October 5. It began with a seated experience for industry to come together to learn about Texas w**es and the 2026 Texas Vintners Cup Winners. This was then followed up by a walk around tasting for industry at the Austin W**ery where the different w**es from the different distinct AVAs were showcased. This project was to raise awareness about Texas w**es and to encourage placement of these w**es in various places such as restaurants, stores, hotels and more.
