The Texas higher education community is working with the Communities Foundation of Texas to organize , a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for emergency aid to help college students impacted by Hurricane Harvey stay in school. Why emergency aid? Research from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation shows that it helps students overcome the obstacles that can cause them to not continue with their education.
