We are thrilled to celebrate our CEO, Sehba Ali, for being honored as one of the Houston Business Journal’s 2026 Women Who Mean Business! 🎉

While Sehba was unable to attend the awards luncheon, our very own Chief Talent Officer, Ann Scott, had the privilege of stepping onstage to accept this prestigious award on her behalf. The room was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated Sehba alongside an extraordinary group of female leaders driving real change across Houston!

This is the second recognition Sehba has received from the HBJ this year, and we couldn't be prouder to have her visionary leadership guiding our Team & Family.

KIPP Texas students are eating local and making the farm-to-table connection! 🥗

This month, as part of the Farm Fresh Challenge, students have been learning where their food comes from. From rice milling to raising chickens, KIPPsters know that so much of what they eat is grown here in Texas, and we are proud to support Texas farmers!

As comes to a close tomorrow, we’re reflecting on the power of family, heritage, and education. 💙

Meet Klarissa, Kaylynn, and Kevin Mora—three KIPPster alumni whose Hispanic heritage is at the heart of everything they do. From being the first in their family to go to college to building careers as a pre-med student, a registered nurse, and a NASA technician, their journey shows what’s possible when the strength of heritage meets a strong foundation.

"My Hispanic heritage is ingrained in everything that I am. It's how I present to the world, and it's something I take immense pride in." – Klarissa Mora

We are so proud of the Mora family and all our KIPPsters who continue to show grit, dream big, and stay connected as a Team and Family.
