¡Tenemos noticias emocionantes que compartir! 🎉

Nuestra escuela se ha asociado con la Greater Austin YMCA para ofrecer un programa extracurricular GRATUITO para estudiantes elegibles, desde Pre-K4 hasta el 5.º grado.

¡Así es: sin costo alguno para las familias!

El programa extracurricular de la YMCA ofrece un entorno seguro, acogedor y estimulante donde los niños pueden aprender, crecer, hacer amigos y divertirse después de la jornada escolar.

🌟 ¿QUÉ INCLUYE EL PROGRAMA GRATUITO?

✅ Apoyo con las tareas y aprendizaje: tiempo dedicado a realizar las tareas escolares y fortalecer las habilidades académicas.

✅ Clubes divertidos y actividades de enriquecimiento: actividades prácticas que fomentan la creatividad, la exploración y el descubrimiento de nuevos intereses.

✅ Actividad física y juegos: oportunidades para mantenerse activos, jugar y desarrollar hábitos saludables.

✅ Habilidades sociales y amistades: actividades que ayudan a los niños a ganar confianza, practicar la amabilidad y desarrollar relaciones positivas.

✅ Personal atento de la YMCA: un equipo capacitado que crea un entorno seguro y de apoyo donde cada niño se siente bienvenido.

Detalles del programa:

Días: de lunes a viernes. El programa sigue el calendario del distrito escolar (ISD).
Horario: desde la salida de la escuela hasta las 6:15 p. m.
Requisitos: para poder participar en este programa gratuito, los estudiantes deben permanecer en él hasta las 5:00 p. m. y asistir de manera regular. Aquellos estudiantes que falten durante más de 2 semanas o que no asistan al menos 4 días a la semana dejarán de ser elegibles.
Edades: desde Pre-K4 hasta el 5.º grado.
Gracias al financiamiento de "Raising Travis County", las familias pueden participar sin costo alguno. El cupo es limitado.

Hot off the press!

Dear Families,

We have exciting news to share! 🎉

Our school is partnering with the Greater Austin YMCA to offer a FREE Afterschool Program for eligible students in Pre-K4 through 5th grade!

That's right—NO COST to families!

The YMCA Afterschool Program provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, build friendships, and have FUN after the school day ends.

🌟 WHAT DOES THE FREE PROGRAM INCLUDE?

✅ Homework Support & Learning – Time to work on homework and strengthen academic skills.

✅ Fun Clubs & Enrichment – Hands-on activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and new interests.

✅ Physical Activity & Games – Opportunities to stay active, play, and develop healthy habits.

✅ Social Skills & Friendships – Activities that help children build confidence, practice kindness, and develop positive relationships.

✅ Caring YMCA Staff – Trained team members who create a safe, supportive environment where every child belongs.

The program is offered:

Days: Monday through Friday. The program follows the ISD calendar.
Times: School Dismissal until 6:15pm.
Requirements: Students must stay until 5pm and attend regularly to take advantage of the free program. Any student absent for more than 2 weeks or not attending at least 4 days a week will be considered ineligible.
Ages: Pre-K4 to 5th grade.
Through funding from Raising Travis County, families can participate at no cost. Space may be limited.

Join us for Coffee with a Cop (Austin ISD Police) tomorrow at 8am! Get to know officers, ask questions, and learn about keeping our school community safe!
