Sutton Middle School located in Atlanta, GA is proud to be an International Baccalaureate School World School.

Our goal is to support and encourage the needs of every child in our school and to do so in a whole child approach. Meaning, we look at and support programs or events that foster their personal, social, physical and intellectual growth. Our 6th grade campus is located at 4360 Powers Ferry Rd, Atlanta, GA 30327.

NEW YORK Information Wednesday, 5/19/27 - Saturday, 5/22/27

This is PRELIMINARY information for the New York trip. There is not yet a scheduled information session but we will share information as we have it. A dedicated newsletter will also be sent out asap with itenerary information etc.

Registration for the 8th grade NYC trip will open through Ge**er Tours Friday, 11/6/26, at 9AM. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not confirmed until Ge**er Tours
receives an initial, non-refundable Tour Planning Fee/Booking Deposit of $350.
The deadline to register for this tour, if space is still available, is 11/20/26. Trip dates are Wednesday, 5/19/27 - Saturday, 5/22/27. A maximum of 125 student spots at a quad per room cost of $1,730 per student. Chaperones will be 8th grade teachers and an administrator.

🌉 International Baccalaureate (IB) Information Session

Families are invited to join us on Wednesday, October 28, from 6:30–7:30 PM for a virtual presentation with the North Atlanta IB Coordinators!

During the session, families will learn how the Middle Years Programme (MYP) creates a strong connection between Sutton and North Atlanta. They’ll highlight how the IB experience in 9th and 10th grade builds on the learning students begin at Sutton and helps prepare them for opportunities in 11th and 12th grade at North Atlanta.

The meeting will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams, and translation will be available. The session will also be recorded, and a link will be shared afterward for families who are unable to attend live.

🌮 8th Grade Parent Social: Taco Night Tuesday, October 27

Snack. Connect. Get involved! Join fellow 8th grade parents for Taco Night on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:30–8:30 PM at Bartaco Chastain (3802 Roswell Rd NE). Meet the 8th Grade Events Committee and members of the PTA, ask questions, share ideas, and learn about the exciting events planned for our 8th graders. Come for the tacos, stay for the connections!

We are incredibly proud to announce that our Sutton Boys Tennis Team are officially CHAMPIONS!

Our Cougars made history by defeating Fulton Science Academy 3-2 to capture the first boys tennis championship in Sutton program history!

Led by Coach Thompson, our boys had an incredible season, dominating league play and finishing with an UNDEFEATED RECORD! Way to go! 👏
