(CPACS) is the first, largest, and longest-standing non-profit organization to focus on Asian Americans, immigrants, refugees, and other racial-ethnic minorities in the Southeast. CPACS-Cosmo Federally Qualified Health Center provides primary and preventive care services to underserved members of the community, particularly those who are low income, uninsured, and limited English proficient.

As we wrap up National Substance Use Prevention Month, CPACS is proud to be part of statewide efforts to address the opioid crisis!

Earlier this month, CPACS joined Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr and over 150 partners at his final meeting leading the Statewide Opioid Task Force.

Through our community-based prevention initiatives, youth education, and statewide partnerships, we're proud to contribute to these important conversations and collaborative efforts to build healthier, safer communities across Georgia.

We recently hosted an "Election Activation" event covering topics such as voter registration, voter safety, and immigration Q&A in partnership with Women Watch Afrika and Kuraz Collective.

Remember that early voting for the midterm elections ends on October 30, and Election Day is on November 3! Check your voter registration status and polling locations at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov. Your voice matters, and your vote is an opportunity to help shape the future of your community!

This Constitution and Citizenship Day, CPACS celebrates our New Americans and the opportunities and responsibilities that come with U.S. citizenship, including the right to vote. Voting gives citizens a voice in choosing their representatives and participating in decisions that affect their communities, schools, families, and future. We celebrate every new citizen and their opportunity to take part in our democracy.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember September 11, 2001, and the lives that were forever changed that day.

Today, we honor those we lost, remember the families and communities who continue to carry their memories, and recognize the courage and compassion shown by so many in the face of tragedy.

As we mark this anniversary, may this remind us of the strength we find when we stand together, care for one another, and support our communities. 🇺🇸

We're making a change to our Food Pantry schedule!
Beginning August 10, the Monday Food Pantry will move to St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Our Friday Food Pantry will continue to be held at CPACS.
