Vincent de Paul Georgia, we’re neighbors helping neighbors through life’s toughest moments. Every year, nearly 300,000 Georgians turn to us for help with food, clothing, housing, healthcare, and emergency support. We meet people where they are—personal, compassionate care that makes a real difference. Our network of 3,200+ Vincentians members across 74 local chapters, supported by staff and thousa

nds of volunteers at our Chamblee Support Center, brings hope and stability to communities across the state. We’re one of Georgia’s largest and most trusted social service organizations, and we’re proud to be part of a global network of 800,000 Vincentians in nearly 150 countries, all working to build stronger, resilient communities. Whether you want to volunteer, partner, or donate, there’s a place for you to help. Together, we can make a real impact—one neighbor, one act of care at a time.

Saia believes caring for a community means putting words into action. As Champion Sponsor of Morning of Hope 2026, that is exactly what they are doing. ☀️

Saia’s commitment to taking care of one another and treating every person with dignity and respect closely reflects the heart of SVdP Georgia’s work. Their support helps ensure neighbors across Georgia can find help when a missed paycheck, rising rent or unexpected expense threatens their family’s stability.

The unrestricted funds raised through Morning of Hope allow SVdP Georgia to meet the most pressing needs of the moment, helping families remain housed, put food on the table, access needed medications and move toward lasting stability.

Thank you, Saia LTL Freight, for championing Our Mission for This Moment and showing what it means to go further for the communities that sustain us.

Judith spent three years without a place to call home, staying in hotels and her car while facing serious health challenges, putting her safety at critical risk.

When she connected with SVdP, our team helped her find affordable housing, cover move-in costs and access additional support. Having a place of her own gave Judith the stability she needed to focus on her health and begin rebuilding.

Her story shows just how closely housing and health are connected. A home provides the foundation for rest and recovery where you can keep medications, make appointments and focus on what comes next.

Judith is currently battling a life-threatening disease, making the impact of having a stable place to call home especially important. We’re so grateful to her for trusting us with her story and for the strength she has shared with our community. ❤️ Please join us in surrounding her with prayers, love and encouragement as she continues her fight. 🎗️

1,000 families have found home with SVdP 🏡

This month, our Motel-to-Home program helped its 1,000th family move from an extended-stay motel into stable housing. Since the work began in 2019, those 1,000 families have included 1,662 children across 40 Georgia counties.

We are both excited and humbled by this milestone, as it shows what is possible when neighbors love their neighbors while also highlighting the deep need for housing solutions in Georgia.

Motel-to-Home helps families overcome the barriers that can keep them stuck paying costly weekly motel rates, from deposits and application fees to credit challenges and past evictions. And the impact continues long after move-in: 88% of participating families remain stably housed after one year.

We’re so grateful to the families who have trusted us, the partners who have invested in this work, and everyone who has helped turn 1,000 new beginnings into reality.

There are still thousands of Georgia families waiting for the opportunity to call somewhere home. Join us in our mission.

As students across Georgia head back to school, we’re looking back at a special visit from the students of Reach for Excellence this summer. 📚

This summer, they visited our Chamblee Service Center to learn about SVdP through hands-on volunteering experience packing snack packs and veterans boxes in our food pantry.

They also got a behind-the-scenes look at how nonprofits work. Students teamed up to explore how an organization’s mission and vision statement shape its work and communication efforts, then put what they learned to the test by creating nonprofit ideas of their own.

Reach for Excellence helps talented metro Atlanta middle school students with limited resources build the academic, leadership and social skills they need to thrive in high school, college and beyond.

We loved seeing these young leaders bring their creativity and curiosity to SVdP and other non-profit initiatives and we wish them success in the school year ahead! 🎒

🌟 A legacy can help create a path toward stability for generations to come.

During National Make-A-Will Month, consider including SVdP in your will or estate plans. A future gift can help neighbors across Georgia stay housed, put food on the table, access needed medicine and move from crisis to stability.

If you'd like to be a part of our mission, we’re pleased to offer complimentary access to FreeWill, a guided estate planning tool sponsored for us by The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia. 📑 FreeWill can help you create or update your will, make your wishes known and consider the legacy you want to leave behind.

By including SVdP in your plans, your generosity can continue opening doors to stability, opportunity and hope for neighbors long into the future. ❤️

We’re excited to announce Georgia Power and Gas South as the Co-Presenting Sponsors of the 2026 Morning of Hope! ☀️

Both organizations have been longtime partners of SVdP Georgia, investing in our mission and serving neighbors across the state.

Since 2009, Georgia Power and the Georgia Power Foundation have contributed nearly $2 million to help neighbors access stable housing, nutritious food and utility assistance, complemented by the dedicated service and generosity of Georgia Power employees.

Over 17 years, Gas South has invested approximately $1 million in our mission, including significant support for Motel to Home, and its employees have contributed more than 2,500 volunteer hours supporting our programs.

We are grateful to Georgia Power and Gas South for helping lead Our Mission for This Moment and making it possible for SVdP Georgia to respond wherever the need is greatest.

🗓️ Join them on September 24 at Flourish Atlanta for Morning of Hope and celebrate what’s possible when our community comes together.
