The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), under the mandate Secretary Rex Gatchalian, has launched the Enhanced Customer Experience Skills (ECES) Training Program as part of its commitment to uphold the highest standards of public service. The initiative aims to build a more responsive, compassionate, and client-centered organization, anchored on the Departmentโs commitment to provide โExtra Love and Extra Careโ to all Filipinos.
Aligned with the values of the Angels in Red Vests campaign, the ECES Training reinforces DSWDโs long-standing dedication to delivering timely, quality, and empathetic services nationwide.
Supporting this national thrust, DSWD Field Office Caraga, through the Human Resource Management and Development Division (HRMDD)-Learning and Development Section (LDS), facilitated the Institutional Rollout of the ECES Training for staff across the region. The program aims to strengthen personnel competencies in effective communication, prompt response to client concerns, and community engagement, while also emphasizing employee wellness activities to support overall well-being.
The ECES Rollout in Caraga was conducted in three batches:
โข Batch 1: Deputized Training Officers (DTOs), held on October 8โ10 at Case Luciana Hotel, Butuan City
โข Batch 2: Regional Management and Development Conference (RMDC) members, held on October 20โ22 at the Pavilion, Butuan City
โข Batch 3: Field staff, held on November 26โ28 at Almont City Hotel, Butuan City
Through the ECES Training, DSWD continues to elevate its service delivery and strengthen its role in building a more just and equitable society. The Department remains steadfast in championing the needs of the most vulnerable and fostering positive, lasting impact in the lives of Filipino families.
