What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us in the Great Barn for our Community Shop fundraiser. The fabulous Helix Gold Band kept us entertained with hits from the 70s to today (finishing with a Pink Floyd medley!), while we tucked into jumbo sausages, fresh salads, and a delicious selection of pastries and brownies.
Huge thanks to Nicola, Maddie, Rachel, Cress, Shirley, David, Gordon, and Chris for making it happen — and to the amazing Helix Gold Band for donating their time.
Together we raised £830 for the community shop, café, and post office! 🙌

Come back to the barn on Saturday morning between 9.30 and 11.30 for the monthly produce market. We'll be selling Reddingend recipe marmalade, home made jams and chutney, as well as Skittery Apple Juices, Much Marcle Honey and home grown plants.

Come and enjoy a musical evening and sausage sizzle with the Helix Gold Band in the Great Barn at Hellens Manor on Saturday 29th August. Get your tickets here: www.ticketsource.com/much-marcle-community-shop-post-office-and-cafe or pay slightly more on the door.
Tickets include one sausage sizzle and one drink, more of both will be available for a donation.
If the weather is good bring a garden chair if you want to sit outside.

The peonies came out for the open gardens, and so did you! Thank you for coming and supporting the community shop project.
Many thanks also to those that worked to make the day a success. That includes the fundraising committee, the garden owners, the refreshments team, the plant stall team, the car parking team, and Westons for the tractor and trailer.

Monday is going to be hot, hot, hot! But there’s plenty of shade and water features in the gardens open in Much Marcle.
This one is tucked away in a garden which closes at 3pm, so get here in good time.
Refreshments in the Memorial hall include ice lollies and cold drinks.

This pretty woodland garden is open with 6 others in Much Marcle on bank holiday Monday 25th May. Come and see the unusual shrubs, trees and beautiful flowers. You’ll need a ride on Weston’s trailer to get to this garden.
Park the car then come to the Memorial Hall for tickets and maps.
One of the gardens closes at 3pm, so get here in good time.
Disabled parking at all gardens.
