At the weekend, we welcomed another group of contractors to our IMI Level 2 & 3 EV training course, and what a great group they were.

Supporting our contractors to develop new skills and stay ahead in a rapidly changing industry is something we're incredibly passionate about, so feedback like this means a lot:

"The course delivery was second to none. Jay (the trainer) really made sure everyone was involved and understood the processes and the key information.

"I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time with Autotech, taking part in training courses, and continuing to develop my skills. The company itself has done so much for me, and I’m extremely grateful and appreciative of all the support."

We're not going to lie, feedback like this genuinely means so much 🥹

We're proud to invest in the amazing technicians who represent our network every day. A huge well done and thank you to everyone who joined us over the weekend, and a special shout-out to Autotech Training for another fantastic course.

Successful recruitment is a shared responsibility. It starts with clear communication, honest expectations and mutual respect. But, most importantly, it requires everyone to take ownership of their part in the process.

When employers, recruiters and candidates each do their bit, the result is a better experience and a better outcome for everyone.

Our Permanent Recruitment Consultant, Luca Casarano, shares his thoughts on what fair recruitment really looks like. Link in comments.

Meet the team behind our temporary recruitment desk. It’s not just six Contracts Managers posing for a photo (hardly their natural habitat 😉), but a team packed with experience and industry knowledge.

🔧 4 are former Vehicle Technicians
🚗 All 6 have automotive or logistics backgrounds
⏱️ 46 years with Autotech Recruit between them (that’s almost 8 years each, on average).

Every day, they put their knowledge and experience to work, matching skilled Vehicle Technicians and MOT Testers with great temporary opportunities, and helping our clients keep their automotive businesses moving.

If you need expert temporary recruitment support, give the team a call or drop them an email. We’re always happy to help: 01234 240503 | [email protected]

Ben joined the Autotech Recruit contractor network in 2021, looking for more control over his working life. What he found was greater flexibility, the ability to work around family commitments, and the freedom to do things on his own terms.

As Ben puts it:
"I think contracting is the future of the trade, and I encourage anyone who I think would be suited to it to give it a go."

If you've ever wondered what automotive contracting is really like, Ben's story is available to read in the Blog section of our website 👇

Autotech Recruit is supporting an exciting new project with a leading automotive OEM that is redefining modern workshop operations.

Rather than simply maintaining vehicles, you'll be:

📈 Helping improve workshop processes and efficiency
🚗 Influencing how future service operations are designed

With rates of up to £27 per hour, weekly pay and access to EV, ADAS and diagnostics training, this is a unique opportunity to be part of something genuinely innovative.

This week’s employment news has brought both optimism and uncertainty: permanent hiring is growing for the first time since 2022, yet the redundancies announced at JLR will affect many talented and experienced people.

Redundancy does not define your ability or your future. It may close one chapter, but it can also open the door to another.

At Autotech Recruit, demand for permanent and temporary automotive talent is increasing.

If you have been affected or are considering your next move, talk to us. A conversation could be the first step towards a new opportunity. 🚗

Interested in a permanent opportunity? Get in touch with [email protected] or [email protected].
