If you have a learning disability, it is important that you have an annual health check.
An annual health check can help you stay well by talking to a doctor or nurse about your health and finding any problems early, so they can be sorted out.
Find out how to book a health check on the NHS website (see the link in the comments below).

As the weather is hotting up, with reports of a heatwave in southern areas, we want to help you be prepared.
Please look out for those who may struggle to keep themselves cool and hydrated, such as older people, those with underlying conditions, those who live alone, and pets.
Other tips include keeping yourself hydrated, keeping curtains or blinds closed, and opening windows on both sides of the house to increase air flow.
To keep cool while you sleep, try using a wet flannel or a hot water bottle filled with ice water.

It is important that you know what you need to do in an emergency and how to report an emergency and non-emergency repair.

To report an emergency repair, call us on 0333 320 2675. An emergency repair could be dangerous or cause serious damage to your home. For example, a burst pipe or if you have no heating.

You can report non-emergency repairs using live chat or the form on our website.

If you need help with reporting repair, speak to your housing officer.

UPDATE
Our reception at Sumner House is back open!

As a result of an ongoing United Utilities issue affecting the water supply in areas of Leyland, our office was closed in King Street, Leyland, on Tuesday 19 May.
Now the issue has been fixed, our reception will be open today (Wednesday 20 May).

You can also contact us by calling 0333 320 2675.
You can also report non-urgent repairs via your online tenant account or by emailing [email protected]

*********
We are aware that on Tuesday and Wednesday 19 and 20 May, some parts of Leyland and Chorley (PR7/PR25/PR26) had no water or low pressure.

United Utilities has resolved the issue and engineers have started filling the water main. This means water should be restored, although this may take a little time.

If your water looks discoloured, don’t worry - this can happen when natural sediments in the pipes are disturbed.

If you are experiencing issues with your water supply, including no water, you can check for updates via https://f.mtr.cool/ahrtodlqxb or report the problem directly to United Utilities online or by calling their 24‑hour helpline on 0345 672 3723.

If you are registered with Priority Services, United Utilities may be able to help you with alternative water supplies.

Sandra loves joining in the fun during our Tenant Chat sessions, where she can enjoy activities like drawing, crafts and games.
We love seeing our tenants benefit from an inclusive space where they are listened to and can grow confidence.
From the smiles on their faces, we can see how our Tenant Chat sessions can help boost their mental health.

We are supporting Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s theme is action.

Mental health is about how we think, feel, and cope with life.

Taking action means doing something helpful. Small actions can make a big difference.

Taking action could mean:

• Doing something to help yourself
• Doing something to help someone else
• Not ignoring how you feel

Our video, Mental Health Awareness Week – action, tells you how you can take action for yourself, for others, and in your community.

An animated video explaining the theme of action for Mental Health Awareness Week 2026. There are hints and tips on how to support each other.

Your Tenant Committee

Your Tenant Committee is a group of tenant representatives and board members who meet to talk about feedback on our services as a landlord.
Your tenant representatives are David, Fiona, John, and Simon.

Your Tenant Committee heard in a meeting last year that the repairs service has improved. We aim to visit all our tenants twice a year and look all around the property to check for repairs.
