Building Stronger Communities Together: Barratt Homes Supports Re-engage with £1,500 Community Fund Donation.
At Regenerage we know that tackling loneliness and social isolation among older people is a challenge that requires communities to come together. That is why we were delighted to welcome Lee Bowers from Barratt Homes to our head office, where he presented the charity with a generous £1,500 donation through the Barratt Homes Community Fund.
This valued contribution will help us continue our work connecting older people with their communities through friendship, social activities and meaningful human connection.
At a time when many older people are experiencing increasing levels of loneliness, support from organisations such as Barratt Homes plays an important role in helping us to reach those who need us most.
The support of local businesses is about far more than financial assistance. It
demonstrates a commitment to creating positive change within the communities where they operate.
By investing in local charities and community organisations, businesses can help strengthen social networks, improve wellbeing and contribute to a more
connected society.
Barratt Homes' donation is an excellent example of Social Value in action. Social Value is about recognising the wider benefits that organisations can bring to communities beyond their core business activities. Whether through charitable giving, volunteering, partnerships or community engagement, actions like this help create lasting positive outcomes for people and places.
Partnerships between charities and businesses are increasingly important in addressing social challenges. By working together, we can amplify our impact, reach more people and create stronger, more resilient communities for everyone.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Barratt Homes for their generosity and commitment to supporting older people. Their contribution will help us continue creating opportunities for friendship, connection and companionship for older people across the UK.
Together, we can ensure that no older person feels disconnected from the community around them.
