Here’s the thing about working at 211 Nova Scotia: every day is different.

Sometimes, you’re chatting with seniors about the supports available in their community to help them stay active and connected.

Sometimes, you’re explaining what 211NS does to someone who heard about us from a friend.

And sometimes, you’re supporting someone who’s going through a difficult chapter in life and isn’t sure where to turn next.

No two conversations are the same, because no two people or situations are the same.

But each one is a reminder that we all have different needs at different times in our lives, and sometimes, we all need a little help finding our way.

There are still a few spots left in the upcoming SOOF Workshop "Grounded in Nature" on Sunday November 1!

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, anxious or exhausted about the climate crisis and the general state of the world consider signing up. This workshop is for individuals who care deeply about the world around them, finding a balance between taking action, managing life's responsibilities, and caring for ourselves can be difficult.

Caring for ourselves isn't a retreat from caring for the world, but an essential part of sustaining our hope, resilience, and capacity for meaningful action. And there's joy to be found along the way!

Join local Nature Therapist Wil Brunner and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Heron Payne for a restorative day of connection with nature, ourselves, and one another.
Come as you are, and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and supported by the land, your community, and yourself - no experience necessary!
