First day of School for students is Thursday September 3rd:
🍎On the first day of school only, families who wish to do so are welcome to enter the building and accompany their child to their classroom. As we work together to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students, families will not be permitted to accompany students to their classrooms after the first day.

Friday, September 4th
🍎 We kindly ask families to help us maintain a safe school environment by reporting to the main office when entering the school and saying goodbye to your child at the entrance. Staff members will be available throughout the school to welcome students and help them find their classroom.

🍽 School lunch Program Update: The Provincial Lunch Program will not begin until September 8. Students should bring a packed lunch for the first two days of school, September 3 and 4. A lunch can be provided to students if needed and orders will be collected by cafeteria personnel for the first two days of school.

The first ordering window for the Provincial Lunch Program opened on August 28 and will cover the two-week period of September 8–18.

We can't wait to see everyone on Thursday! 💙

Thursday was our annual YES Bulldogs flag football game vs the local RCMP and friends team. Much thanks to them for taking time out of their busy schedules to have fun and a friendly competition with our team! Our student and staff spectators deserve a shout out too! They made signs for both teams and cheered the loudest we have ever heard. 🙂🏈

Due to the weather, we will be cancelling the field day activities scheduled for tomorrow, June 24. Some of the planned activities will take place in the gym as part of their PE classes. Towels and a change of clothes will not be required. As the weather is supposed to improve we will proceed with our family picnic which can occur inside or outside. We look forward to having our families join us for this end of the year event. Please note that if students are leaving with parents guardians after the picnic, we ask that they please communicate with the classroom teacher to let them know. Thank you.
