Consumer product recall: fire hazard & burn hazard

This recall involves Secura air fryers with model number SAF-53 (TXG-DS16) only with date codes 1903 and 1904. They are a black colour with silver accent. The brand name Secura is on the top of each unit. The model number and four-digit date code are printed on the silver labels located at the bottom of each unit. The air fryers measure about 30 cm (12 inches) high, 28 cm (11 inches) deep and 30 cm (12 inches) wide.

Issue:
A wire connection in the air fryer can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.

What to do:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Secura ​​Inc. for an Amazon.ca gift card code. To receive a credit or replacement product, consumers must provide their contact information and submit photos of the recalled unit with the power cord cut off and include information of the product’s date code located at the bottom of the product.

Recall Alert:

Burn Hazard: ZWILLING has recalled several electric water kettles, including the ENFINIGY (1.5L) and ENFINIGY Pro (1.5L) models.

The handle on these products may loosen or break off, posing a risk of hot water spills and burns.

If you own any of the affected products, stop using them immediately and register them with ZWILLING to receive a refund.

We want to make you aware of a situation brought to our attention in which an individual may be going door-to-door in Norfolk County Fire Department (NCFD) attire.

At this time, NCFD is not conducting any door-to-door campaigns for inspections or any other purposes. In addition, NCFD does not conduct any fundraising or donation campaigns through door-to-door visits.

Please use caution, and do not feel pressured to provide personal information or money to anyone claiming to represent NCFD.
