Hey, Norfolk County! ๐ Before you roll your new green cart away, take a look inside. Every green cart comes with a kitchen container tucked inside. Use it to collect food scraps and other accepted organics in your home, then transfer them to your green cart for curbside pickup.
Organics collection begins the week of September 28 as part of Norfolk County's new waste collection program. Organics will be collected weekly, along with your recycling, while garbage will be collected every other week. Not sure when to set out your grey garbage cart?
Use the collection schedule tool at norfolkcounty.ca/CollectionDay to find your collection day and determine whether you're in the Week 1 or Week 2 garbage collection zone, or learn about the full program at norfolkcounty.ca/WasteChanges
