Same day, two stories. 🌎

For many Italian Americans, Columbus Day honors heritage and immigrant resilience. For Indigenous communities and Caribbean roots like ours, it’s a day to remember the Taíno and the loss that followed 1492, which is why many places now observe Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

It still matters because how we remember history shows how we see ourselves. 🤝

What does today mean to you? 👇

Un mismo día, dos historias. 🌎

¿Qué significa este día para ti? 👇
