NEPAL NEEDS US and medical supplies aren't reaching the clinics and hospitals that need them most.

Hospitals are damaged. Roads are gone. And right now, almost nothing is getting through to the clinics and hospitals that need it most.

Nepal is facing a full-blown health crisis layered on top of a disaster that has already claimed hundreds of lives and the gap in medical supplies is widening by the day.

Working hand-in-hand with our partner on the ground, the Foundation, we're mapping exactly what's needed to get medical supply help to affected communities in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and beyond before more lives are lost.

This is just the beginning of our response. More is coming but we can't do it without you.

Thanks to a generous donation from Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages, pallets of DASANI water are now staged and ready to ship to Puerto Rico. Afya is partnering with Accion Social de PR Inc on the ground to get this water directly into the hands of communities facing the ongoing water crisis.

Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake campers showed up and got straight to work. Sorting supplies and getting it done.

Mobility delivered. Independence restored.

We partnered with the The City of Yonkers Office for the Aging for a one-day event putting wheelchairs, walkers, and shower chairs directly into the hands of local elders, no cost, no red tape, with occupational therapists on-site to get every fit right.

Medicaid cuts are putting these essentials further out of reach. Afya is innovating to fill that gap, event by event. We've brought this same support to elders across the NYC boroughs, and Westchester, even as we serve communities worldwide.

Another supply distribution event is coming this fall, with more equipment, more partners, more neighbors served, as we expand to reach more of the NYC area. Stay tuned. 🧡🧡🧡
