Congratulations to CCFB President Heberling on his selection to participate in the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 13th Partners in Advocacy Leadership (PAL) class!

Mathew is one of 10 agricultural leaders from across the country chosen for the two-year leadership development program, which helps Farm Bureau members strengthen their advocacy skills and become more effective voices for agriculture in their communities, organizations and government.

Members of the class include agriculturalists from Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina and Utah. Mathew is the first to represent Illinois since 2014! Congratulations again Mathew and good luck!

We picked a wonderful day for a farm visit with Senator Doris Turner! We were able to visit Big "M" Berry Patch on their opening day of the strawberry season! We had a great afternoon of advocating, discussion, and strawberry picking! A special thank you to Mel Repscher for the tour of their historic centennial farm, and sending us home with some delicious strawberries and asparagus as well!
