Eads a little corny, but “it’s” still our favorite bridge 🤣 And the best way to see it and the Gateway Arch is from the top deck of a St. Louis Riverfront Cruise with the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch. Book now before the season ends November 29!

🎂🎉 Happy birthday to me! I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone today, 61 years after my final piece was put into place and construction was completed. Come take a Tram Ride to the Top, visit the free Museum under the Gateway Arch or just come see me and the 91 acres of GatewayArchNationalParkService grounds around me!

The Museum under the Gateway Arch and exhibits inside the Old Courthouse brings centuries of history into focus, from Indigenous and colonial cultures to westward expansion, courtrooms that shaped our judicial system, and the construction of the most emblematic piece of downtown St. Louis: ME.

Save this post as a reminder to move those Arch plans up the list on Oct. 27 and Nov. 11.

Those are Fee-Free Days at Gateway Arch National Park, and they offer a little more value packed into your visit. On these days, the park waives the $3 entrance fee normally included with adult Tram Ride to the Top and adult Documentary Movie tickets.

Take advantage of the deals before they sell out and treat yourself to a trip to the top and the movies.

I’m used to being the one everyone looks up at. But this Saturday, I’ll share the spotlight for a Gateway Arch National Park stargazing event 🌕

The Gateway to the Stars series continues on Oct. 24 at 6:30pm with stories of various “incarnations” of the park grounds, and the fortunes and misfortunes of historical figures such as Eero Saarinen, James Eads, Thomas Targee, Percy Green, and Kenneth Swyers. The group will meet at the Entrance Plaza outside the Gateway Arch Visitor Center.

The ranger-guided event concludes with free telescope viewing of the moon!
