To qualify, residents must:
Live within the City of St. Louis.
Have a household income below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Have an account past due.

From foster care and housing instability to CEO of Covenant House Missouri, Dr. Lanette Madison’s story is a powerful example of resilience, determination, and the impact of community support.

Years ago, a United Way funded scholarship helped her stay in school and earn her degree. Today she leads a United Way partner agency, helping provide shelter, basic needs, and long-term solutions for teens and young adults experiencing homelessness.
