The Spring Lake Heights Police Department is proud to announce that we are participating in “No Shave November”

“No Shave November” is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving in order to evoke conversation and raise awareness.

Once again, all donations collected will be donated to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in memory of our friend and retired Spring Lake PD Sgt. Steven Blecki.

Donation containers will be placed in each homeroom in Spring Lake Heights School for the month of November.

The class that collected the most donations will get to paint the officers’ beards!

Please help us support a great cause!

This morning, Lt. Hager and Ptl. Levy responded to an unusual rescue call. A kitten had managed to get itself stuck inside a dryer vent!

After a little teamwork and some careful maneuvering, our officers were able to safely free their new furry friend.

Thankfully, the kitten is safe, sound, and ready for its next adventure!
