The current Spring Lake Heights Borough Council is attempting to dissolve the Spring Lake Heights Fire District. They have refused to pay the Fire District the legally obligated monies raised by taxation.

The current council voted to dissolve the Fire District after receiving a petition signed by approximately 250 residents. This council also received a petition signed by over 600 residents urging them NOT to dissolve the Fire District which the current council completely ignored.

Support those who support our volunteers. Vote Enright, Meehan and Tully for A Better Spring Lake Heights on Tuesday, November 8.

Recently, The Coast Star featured a strongly worded editorial stating: ".. the Spring Lake Heights Borough Council [whose] members have repeatedly proved over the past several years that they are incapable of working together to efficiently run the town..."

The Coast Star says it all.

The Current Council is Mis-managing Spring Lake Heights.

* Spring Lake Heights usually has over $4,000,000 in the bank but why can’t they pay their bills?
* The Borough has had its phone turned off, received delinquency notices from the State with a threat of penalties, and received phone calls from collection agencies because of unpaid bills.
* The recently hired Borough Clerk and the Chief Financial Officer have quit. The Borough office is understaffed and in turmoil.

Vote in a team that will manage with experience and clean up our borough office. Re-elect Mayor Fran Enright and Elect Hugh Meehan and John E. (Jack) Tully to Council. They have the education, background, and experience to make knowledgeable decisions, hire qualified professionals, and restore our town to its rightful place as a premier New Jersey Shore Community.
