Angels' Place has provided homes and services for persons with developmental disabilities since 1992. Our commitment is for life; on average 40 years.

Angels’ Place, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization founded in 1992, provides homes and services to persons with developmental disabilities. Angels’ Place has twenty-one homes that provide specialized residential care, supported independent living, and community based services to over 150 individuals. We have homes in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties. Also, through our Abundant Life Services Angels’ Place provides transitional services, educational workshops, community supports for those living on their own, respite programs for caregivers, and many other types of outreach.

Last week we had the perfect autumn day for our outing at Normandy Oaks Park! The residents enjoyed creating crafts, making trail mix, playing sports & games, going on a scavenger hunt, eating a hot dog lunch, making s'mores, & a visit from some of their therapy dog friends.

A special shoutout goes to dog handler Donna Krall for sponsoring the pavilion rental, Cathy & Marty Nagle for supplying the hot dogs & s'mores, & Muriel Whiteside for providing the trail mix ingredients.

Carl, a resident at our Middlebury Home, recently displayed his creative paintings at an art fair hosted by Judy Anderson, Nancy Smith, Wendy Powers, and Sally Mezey. Thank you to everyone who celebrated Carl and donated in his honor!

No tricks ... just treats! Some of our residents recently received a special delivery of homemade goodies to celebrate the Halloween season. A big thank you to these 7th graders at St. Hugo of the Hills, and all of those who are so thoughtful and generous to the men and women of Angels' Place!

It was a picture-perfect fall day for our outing at Three Cedars Farm. There was plenty for everyone to enjoy: donuts & c***r, hayrides, a petting farm, train rides, pumpkin patches & a hot dog lunch!
