Now Seeking: Land Use Architect & Financial Development Advisor for Tierra de Rosas
Health Equity Rising and the Tierra de Rosas Civic Coalition are excited to launch two Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in support of the Tierra de Rosas Civic Parcel, a community-led development in the heart of Roseland that will bring health and wellness services, cultural and gathering spaces, youth programming, and workforce development to a historically underserved Latine community.

We're seeking a Land Use Architect (LUA) to lead conceptual design and site planning grounded in community input and culturally responsive, healing-centered design principles, and a Financial Development Advisor (FDA) to help build a diversified capital strategy, including New Markets Tax Credits, philanthropic partnerships, and state and federal grant opportunities.

Both roles are central to bringing this community's vision to life, a space built not just for Roseland, but with and by Roseland.

Proposals are due October 1, 2026.

We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of Dolly Parton. Dolly believed that if you teach a child to read, you teach them to dream—a vision that became the Imagination Library and reshaped early childhood literacy across the globe.

Through her program, local children receive free, high-quality books in the mail every month, building confidence, family reading routines, and a lifelong love of learning long before they ever step into a classroom.

Our leadership team recently set aside time away from daily operations to reaffirm our commitment to the agency’s mission. We dedicated our retreat to sharpening our strategic direction, strengthening organizational resilience, and nurturing a workforce passionate about serving and uplifting our community.

Our time together was equal parts productive and fun—we left with actionable plans, stronger team connections, and plenty of great memories to carry forward.

A huge thank you to Sonoma Clean Power for graciously hosting our team. We’re inspired and ready to move forward together in service of our mission and community.
