📢 Important Medi-Cal Updates Are Coming in 2027!
Starting January 1, 2027, some Medi-Cal members may be required to meet new work and community engagement requirements to maintain their health coverage.
✅ Eligible activities may include:
💼 Employment
📚 Attending school
🤝 Volunteering
🎓 Job training
Affected individuals may need to complete at least 80 hours per month through one or more qualifying activities.
However, not everyone will be required to meet these requirements. Certain individuals, including pregnant people, people with disabilities, and caregivers, may qualify for exemptions.
