Pumpkins, fresh produce, and civic engagement! 🎃🥬🗳️ Just another beautiful day in the Tenderloin 💛

Yesterday, our team got to experience some of the wonderful things happening in our neighborhood, from pumpkin picking with Compass Family Services to fresh produce and friendly faces at Heart of the City Farmers' Market, and getting out the vote with Hospitality House SF's Walk With Windy event.

There’s so much heart in the Tenderloin, and days like these remind us why we love this neighborhood 🧡

This Socktober, help our San Francisco neighbors stay warm through the colder months by donating new socks to St. Anthony’s. Drop off your donations at 121 Golden Gate Avenue, Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Simply pull up to the barricade, let our team know you're dropping off donations, and we'll help you from there!

Everyone deserves a great meal and a warm welcome. ❤️

Last night, we brought together Chef David Nayfeld of Che Fico and St. Anthony’s own Chef Annria Rossouw for One City, Two Tables, a conversation about food, hospitality, and caring for our city.
While their backgrounds and kitchens may look different, both chefs share a deep commitment to preparing food with pride, care, and dignity. Ahead of the event, Chef David spent time at St. Anthony’s to better understand our work and the community we serve.

At St. Anthony’s, we serve more than 2,000 meals every day to our neighbors in the Tenderloin, guided by the same belief that great food and genuine hospitality can bring people together.
Food and culture are woven into the fabric of San Francisco. Whether you're dining at Che Fico or pulling up a chair at St. Anthony's, hospitality is about more than food. It's about making people feel valued, welcomed, and part of a community.

A heartfelt thank you to Heather Holmes for moderating, La Cocina for hosting, Chef David, Chef Annria, Che Fico, and all of our supporters who joined us for such a meaningful evening.

Bringing community creativity to Golden Gate Avenue! 🎨 Last Friday, neighbors and local organizations came together for a Golden Gate Greenway community mural design session. Led by BR Demko and Lily Chandrasekher with the mural team, the interactive workshop gave community members an opportunity to share ideas and help shape the future street and sidewalk mural.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, including The Tenderloin Community Benefit District and Wu Yee Children's Services, for helping bring this community vision to life! As temperatures begin to drop, a warm coat or an extra layer can make all the difference 🧥❤️

Our Free Clothing Program is gearing up for the colder months, and we need your help keeping our neighbors warm. Donations of jackets, sweaters, warm layers, and other cold-weather essentials help ensure our guests have access to the clothing they need.

Help us keep our neighbors warm this season! Gather your gently used clothing and drop off your donations at our curbside location.
