The department has a Police Chief, two Sergeants, an Investigator and eig

ht Patrol Officers. Patrol Officers are on the street and available for calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Police Department responds to over 6000 incidents per year and serves approximately 8200 residents. Francis Police Department Office hours are Monday-Friday 6:30 am-4:30 pm. Officer Barck and his K9 partner Viktor completed 14 weeks of training and graduated on June 19th with certification by the USPCA in narcotics detection and patrol work (criminal apprehension, evidence detection and obedience). Officer Barck and Viktor received a perfect score for narcotics detection in their class! Let’s congratulate them on a job well done and welcome them back to patrol!

The St. Francis Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of the mini-van that bumped into another car in the High School Parking lot on May 19 around 2:25 PM. Unfortunately, the driver did not leave a note or contact the local police to give their insurance information. If you know who the owner or the driver is contact Investigator Lyle Hearn at 763-235-2325, please do not put names on this Post.
