📢 Important Updates for Raider Athletics!

We're updating a few safety guidelines, beginning with Friday's home football game against Overhills to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!

Here's what students and families need to know:

🟢 Elementary and middle school students MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students cannot be dropped off at the gate and must remain with their parent or guardian throughout the game.
🟡 High school students must show a valid student ID to attend without a parent or guardian. IDs from community colleges, homeschool programs and other school districts are accepted, along with government-issued photo IDs.

Additional guidelines:
-Students currently suspended from school may not attend.
-Spectators should remain seated except when visiting concessions or restrooms. Noloitering.
-No ski masks or face-concealing coverings.

📚 Great things are happening in our kindergarten classrooms!

At Mineral Springs Elementary, our teachers are finding creative ways to make learning fun while building the reading, writing and communication skills students need to succeed. Through hands-on activities, purposeful play and plenty of opportunities to explore, even our youngest learners are taking ownership of their learning.

We love seeing the great work happening in Richmond County Schools highlighted by EdNC! Take a look inside these classrooms and meet some of the teachers making it happen.

The kindergarten classrooms at Mineral Springs Elementary demonstrate that rigor and joy do not have to compete with one another.
