๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’™ United Way of Richmond County was proud to present the Warm Hearts Award to the City of Hamlet, North Carolina, for their incredible support of our Bundle Up Richmond initiative! โค๏ธ

Through community collections, a total of 1,800 winter essential items were collected and distributed to individuals and families in need throughout Richmond Countyโ€”including coats, gloves, socks, scarves, toboggans, and blankets. ๐Ÿงฃ๐Ÿงค๐Ÿงฅ

Because of their generosity and support, children went to school in warmer conditions, seniors slept more comfortably, and countless individuals facing difficult times felt supported and cared for.

Thank you, City of Hamlet, for helping keep Richmond County warmโ€”in every sense of the word. ๐Ÿฅฐ

The Hamlet Police Department proudly recognizes National Police Week. This week, we honor the dedication, service, and sacrifices of law enforcement officers across our nation, and especially the men and women who serve right here in Richmond County.

We are grateful for our officers who work tirelessly each day to protect and serve our community. We also take this time to remember and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage and commitment will never be forgotten.
